Spray Tanning

RVC has a Laser-Guided Turbine Spray Tanning System. The laser makes application flawless. The tanning solution contains the active ingredient DHA (dihydroxyacetone) and a related sugar called erthrulose that reacts with the amino acids in the top layer of the skin to produce a healthy golden tan. DHA, a sugar derivative, is approved for safe use by the FDA. While the spraying process takes only minutes, the “tan” develops over the next several hours. Bronzers may be added to give instant color to the client.

Tanning Bed and Booth

For those long dark winter nights or to prepare your skin for a tropical vacation, get tan in our brand new tanning bed and booth (maximum tanning time is 15 minutes).

For men, we have a five-sided standing booth from Sun Capsule. It has been designed for an average tanning time of eight to ten minutes. This efficient machine is perfect for a person with limited time. As well, the booth has a quiet fan that circulates air at 18mph, providing a sweat-free, healthy environment.

Women can lounge in our gently tanning Nova bed for up to 15 minutes. This top-of-the-line bed has two four-hundred watt lamps that are specially positioned for a higher quality upper-body and facial tan.

Both of our tanning units provide a comfortable tanning environment and have the safest and most modern UVA equipment. Tanning has become an important part of life for many people; in fact, there are now almost 30 different locations offering tanning throughout the Upper Valley.
