Meet Dr. Laleh Talebian
By the time I was 13, I had decided to become a scientist and at 15, I had one purpose in life: To Fight Cancer.
Since then, I have obtained my bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Food Biochemistry from the University of CA, Davis, my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology of Cancer from Dartmouth Medical School.
I am a scientist, and I am doing my best as a scientist to fight cancer. Each and every day, I am reminded of the effects of nutrition and lifestyle on our health. I see the detrimental outcome of unhealthy choices manifesting NOT ONLY as cancer but as many other diseases as well as obesity.
I also come from a family in which cancer, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol are very prevalent. I am a living proof that we can use the knowledge about our genes and family history to our benefit and to beat the odds. I want to share all that I have learned with you.
Knowledge is power. I want to share with YOU my knowledge, to help YOU discover the power within YOU, to uncover your body’s full potential. Limitations? We will face them together, and we will leave them behind.

About the Program
My personal philosophy is that no two individuals are identical and therefore, it is not logical to have a “one size fits all” model for nutrition and exercise.
Even the same person may have different health and fitness goals from one year to another and the nutrition and exercise plan must meet the requirements of each training program to meet those goals.
This program is specifically designed to meet your specific health and fitness needs, goals and plans, as well as your personal wellbeing and physical and mental balance.
The plan will be customized around your specific goals, your family history and back ground, your unique genetics, your commitment and determination, and based on the information that you will provide to me.
A detailed questionnaire is specifically formulated to help me to get to know you. This will also ensure that you get to your destination safely and timely.
The more specific and clear you are, the better equipped I will be to design your plan.
What is Weight Loss Coaching?
Weight Loss Coaching helps you to achieve results and keep the weight off for good, giving you a body that looks and feels fantastic.
You probably know what you need to do to lose weight and be healthier, yet doing it is often the hard part.
For instance, you know that you should only eat when you’re hungry or drink plenty of water each day. Working with a coach helps you to find a way to do these things and to stick with it for good. Your Weight Loss Success Coach supports you and encourages you to take the steps towards losing weight and being healthier. We are confidential partners and offer you the opportunity to look at your weight loss and health from different perspectives. When you have someone who really believes in you, you will move forward faster.

Our coaching programs are a “hands on” approach to helping you achieve your goals and are ideal for those who prefer working with a professional for personal support, motivation and coaching. All sessions are arranged around your lifestyle and schedule. Work one on one with your personal nutrition coach from the convenience of your telephone or in person.
Each package includes the benefits of a complimentary online membership for journaling, exercise programming and motivation. Nutrition Lecture Series
NSCA Vermont State Director, Scott Caulfield, CSCS*D will be hosting a Nutrition Lecture Program throughout the month of November and December on Thursdays at 5:30PM for teenagers and adults. The lectures will provide inforamtion on the latest research in nutrition and vital information required to fuel performance , improve fitness level and maintain health. This is open to members and non-members and is $5.00 entrance fee per session. The topics and dates are as follows;
November 12th – Nutrition Strategies for Management of Sport Injuries
December 3rd – Nutrition for Aerobic Athletes
December 10th – Nutrition and the Young Athlete
December 17th – Nutrition and the Female Athlete
