MG 8180 150x150 Movement Specialist Scott StoneI feel strongly that physical health is not a diet or a fad but a way of life. I have been pursuing the field of health and wellness since high school when I worked with strength coaches at Dartmouth and subsequently in my job as a therapist at a spine center. Over time I’ve discovered that training the body is very complex and involves many layers. I like to help my clients navigate those layers without becoming overwhelmed with all the information (or misinformation) out there. I firmly believe that a balanced life is key to a person’s health and should include both hard work and fun. My own pursuits have taught me the importance of resistance training to regain physical balance that is often neglected. Without this balance, I would never have been able to complete over 40 marathons including 16 consecutive Boston marathon finishes. Because of this experience, I can help endurance athletes avoid the pitfalls of overuse injuries which leads them to longevity in their pursuits. To go longer you have to be stronger.
