Philosophy Statement

It is the goal of Fit Kids childcare to create and maintain a warm, nurturing environment that supports the naturally paced emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth of each child. In our program learning is integrated into the daily routine, and playing is not separated from learning; playing is learning. We are committed to implementing some of Piaget’s theory of Cognitive Development in a Child Care Program. We believe in Piaget’s educational approach in that children have the opportunity to explore and experience a variety of activities. Located inside a fitness facility makes us unique to other centers but also allows us to incorporate fitness and health into the lives of our children and enables them the opportunity to carry over into their teenage years and adulthood.
