New Leaf
Everyone Responds differently to exercise. So why are we all working out the same?
Did you know: That if you were to use an equation (using height, weight, age and gender) to estimate your Resting Metabolic Rate (or how many calories your body needs per day) that it’s possible to be off by as much at 1,000 calories! That’s an extra 2lbs per week…an incredible 104 pounds per year!
With New Leaf Testing you know exactly how many calories you need in order to lose fat. By measuring the amount of oxygen you consume, the amount of carbon dioxide you exhale, we’re able to accurately and precisely measure the number of calories you need to lose, maintain or gain weight. Once you know that, we can create a successful weight loss, weight management or weight gain plan that will work for you!
- Know how many calories your body needs
- Know how long and how hard you should exercise
- Know how to combine nutrition, exercise and the time you have available to reach your goals
- Know that success is just around the corner – the choice is yours.
Train Smarter, Not Harder!
Whether your goal is weight management or performance, whether you want to lose 5 pounds or 50, knowing your individual response to exercise gives you the tools needed to reach your goals.

The Program:
8 – 12 week individualized cardio program based on your numbers. We offer a variety of programs, assessments and training packages that will meet your individual needs.
The Power of Knowledge:
We’ve all heard about the so-called “magic numbers”…women should take in 1200 calories/day, men take in 1400 calories/day and by doing that you will supposedly lose weight. Sounds simple right? Do you know how many calories you really need to take in during a typical day? We all require a minimum amount of fuel just for the body and its organs, tissues, etc., to function properly. If we don’t take in that minimum number of calories, our body actually senses we are in danger of not finding our next meal. That’s where our survival instincts kick in and our body will actually try to prevent us from losing weight by slowing down our metabolism.
