The Bumblebee room is our active toddler classroom.  Children enter this room as their developmental needs begin to outgrow the Lady Bug Room.  Children in this classroom range in age from approximately 15 to 36 months old.  This classroom is full of action at all times.  Children are grasping the basics of learning together through play, daily circle time, music and lots of gross motor activities.  This classroom is licensed for 14 children with three teachers working daily at a 1:5 ratio.

In the Bumblebee room our mission is to help children learn more about their world, the concept of respecting others, and fostering their sense of independence by encouraging them to challenge their abilities and praise their successes as well as their efforts.  This room has a daily schedule that includes group activities, outdoor exploration and inside center play.  In the Bumblebee room we help your child prepare for their ever so promising pre-school years by providing them with engaging activities that stimulate their desire to want to learn and participate in their classroom environment.

Daily Bumblebee Schedule:

7:30-9:00: Drop off/Free Play/Diapers, Potty, & Hand washing

9:00-9:30: Morning Snack

9:30-10:15: Morning stations

10:15-11:30: Outside preparation/ outside play/ yoga

11:30-12:15: Hand washing and lunch

12:15-12:30: Diapers/Potty/ Hand washing

12:30-2:30: Nap/Rest time

2:30-3:00: Art, Diapers/Potty/Hand washing

3:00-3:30: Afternoon snack

3:30-4:15: Afternoon Stations

4:15-4:30: Diapers/Potty/ Hand washing

4:30-5:30: Outside play/ yoga/ departure

*Diapers/Potty/Hand washing throughout the day, and as needed

*Outside/Yoga/Stations time change due to current weather.
